You're welcome, Anna :)

That youtube video is HILARIOUS!!! My deepest (current) fear! I go into night sweats thinking about sitting at a table in a bookstore, my beloved, hard-won published book on the table--ALONE!!! Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh!!! I will bring chocolate. Lots and lots of chocolate.

As always, Jon.

I felt so sorry for him having to watch all those Mary Higgins-Clark fans ignore him to talk to her :)

That has to be SERIOUSLY worse than the Waldenbooks signing.

I liked the video, but I had an epiphany reading the What a Character! post.

Epiphanies are always good :)

I hope not. I also hope they give Mary Higgins-Clarke her own table in future :)

The video was FUNNY! Hehehehe. Thanks for titling my post for me. :) I noticed it was without title, but LJ has not been allowing me to edit my posts after I posts them. It's been weeks. It's driving me bonkers.

Great picks as always. I really need to say something different next Friday. I'm a writer. I bet I can think something up. :)

That's weird. LJ sometimes eats my posts mid-edit when I try to add links to folks' LJ pages (which is why I type all my entries in Word first), and it once ate a Puddle poll, but so far I've not had a problem editing a title.

It ate a Puddle Poll? Who does LJ think they're dealing with? It can't go around eating people's polls.

I type everything in Word . . . easier to edit. But I can't edit ANYTHING, once I tell it to post. So if I have a typo or forget to title . . . it is just there. I won't even let me remove a post. All this means I have to be EXTRA careful when I post something these days. But I a the WORST self editor. I always notice stuff once I see it on my journal page. Now I just notice it and sit with my anxiety.

Lol, I know that feeling :)

Yes, Parnell Hall's video was very funny. I don't think his book signings were that sparse but I like his sing along and how he played it up.

Haven't read all the articles yet but will soon.

Thanks for all the informative links, Jon:D

I certainly hope his signings weren't that sparse :)

Good Picks
Thanks for posting. The character exercise in the second post looks fun. Though there are a few character I won't be able to get past the first question with. Hah. XP

Re: Good Picks
I think it really helps with filling in back story and character motivations, even if you never use (or at best, barely hint at) most of it.

Re: Good Picks

"It was probably 14..." *gonk*

After writing some things out, I've realized what a shameless drama-whore I am and how deeply I've been affected by comic books... and aliens.

Lol, don't worry about it. I keep forgetting to wear my glasses, which has made from some interesting typos.
