As always, thanks, Jon!

I too was up during that hour last night. We could have had virtual tea. :)
Mar. 19th, 2010 04:42 pm (UTC)
No we couldn't, I was too busy trying to get some virtual sleep :(

The Jim Hines analysis is fascinating! I had seen the first part, but had not realized there was a part II. Thanks for pointing it out!

He's going to work on a Part III (and then release the raw data) after he gets back from Millenicon this weekend. (Which I'm unfortunately not attending.)

I think there is a con every single weekend, somewhere in the world!

Oh, I'm sure there is, but this one is in my neck of the woods. It's just that family stuff is preventing us from attending.

I know there's one next week - The Write Stuff conference in PA. I'll be there :)

How could you leave out "Useful things I learned about writing from roleplaying" by World Fantasy Award-winner Jo Walton (papersky)?
Mar. 20th, 2010 02:47 pm (UTC)
That's a great post, but I do have a valid reason for noit including it... until you posted the link, I'd never read papersky's journal :P

I hope I didn't miss any good ones - I scanned through four days worth of f-list in one go yesterday.
Mar. 20th, 2010 02:47 pm (UTC)
Hey Jon! Just posted a blog today that I would love included in this list next week Friday. Check it out and if you deem it worthy and/or informative I'd love a little help in getting it out there.

I appreciate it and thanks for another great list this week!

Hi Geoff,

That's an interesting way of looking at self-publishing, though I'm not sure I agree with the analogy. I've been thinking about posting a follow up to the self-pub debate from the other week. If you don't mind, I'll use your post as a starting point.

By the way, l looked for an RSS feed on your blog, but you don't have one that I could see. If you set one up, please let me know.
