Looking for children's author to speak at a school in New Jersey

I got an email from a teacher in Elizabeth, NJ today. She's looking for a published children's author to talk at her school (k through 5th grade) March 2nd.

Does anybody know anyone who might be interested?

Well, I was thinking more of Greyhound, but whatever they can stretch to. I'm the middle grades author jjschwabach said she knows... we met cuz we have the same parents :). I've got a couple middle grade novels out from Random House.

Does it have to be from NJ area?
I've seen some authors doing school visits via Skype and making the experience enjoyable so far. That's a way to expand to other possibilities :)

You might want to post a note on the writerscoffeehouse list about this - there's a number of published children's authors in that group who might be local.

Thanks, Bernie. It looks like someone from the New Jersey Authors' Network is going to do it, but I'll certainly remember the writerscoffeehouse if that falls through, or I get another request.
