I'd like to thank everyone who gave feedback about how you'd like me to format these weekly link selections. The general consensus was to keep doing them the same way, so here’s my selection of interesting (and sometimes amusing) posts about writing from the last week:

I think this is the best collection of links you've compiled! My favorites?

7 Reasons Agents Stop Reading Your First Chapter and Are titles really THAT important? In a word, YES!

Mainly because I'm dealing with both of those areas right now.

Thanks (as always) for doing this. I followed your link to another link and found some great reading...

Lol, for a moment there, I thought you were going to say your favorite was the one about synopses ;)

Thanks for reading :)

Great links!!! I had read some, but several answered questions on my mind (i.e., when to query and book title). It was like you were in my head . . . never a good place to be. ;-)

I love how people share their knowledge and experience on the web.

Thanks for reading. Congrats on finishing this year's NaNoWrimo, and ahead of time too :)

Thank you for the congratulations. I hope the words I wrote match (even a whisper) what I have in my head. My fear? The NaNo experience will be another sign that I am delusional . . . much like my belief I am an excellent drummer when I play Rock Band.

Keep up the great blog . . . it's pointless to say that, because I know you will.

I really enjoyed reading the synopsis one. Great info. Although, the challenge I'm currently facing is the fact that many agents are asking for extremely short synopses--1-2 pages--and it's very difficult to get all that information into such a short space, particularly when condensing a fairly elaborately plotted 118K manuscript.

Yeah, I know what you mean. It's almost easier to start with the pitch para and expand it :)
