I don't know if it's because I'm focused on it or what, but I keep finding more evidence that word count is VITAL to gaining the attention of an agent and/or publisher. Blimey! With only about 100 pages left to revise and still at 137K (yes, I did check, so there) I'm not too confident about being able to slice another 12K from it. :( But I'll keep trying!

On the bright side, when you do manage it, you'll have crammed an awful lot of story into that lower wordcount :)

Thanks for the links as always. I'm interested in keeping up with how to promote books via online resources, so I particularly found that link useful. I'm not there yet, but I like to also pass the info on to friends who are. (Now I have to get organized and record these tips and links somewhere!)
