First Person

I read the latest issue of Space And Time  today (if you haven't already, you should check out their new and improved website, they've got some great artwork from past issues to look at).  I'm sorry to say I couldn't force myself to read the first story.  Nothing to do with the content, and no offence intended towards the author, there's just something about present tense writing that kicks my eyes off the page.

I very much enjoyed Rich Sampson's The Gift though.

I had the pleasure of meeting Hildy Silverman, Space And Time's owner and editor-in-chief (a delightful lady with a mischievous twinkle in her eye and a wealth of useful information), when she gave a talk on Networking to the Garden State Horror Writers last year.  Sad to say, she says in her editorial that the magazine might become an e-zine.  It's a shame, especially for people like me who'd rather turn a page than scroll down, but I guess those are the times we live in.

More a matter of making sure she gets enough subscribers or advertisers to keep the magazine away from e-zine status.
