My friend, Bill Marley, passed away yesterday.
I don't claim to have known him well, but in the five years since we met, his ever-cheerful manner, his quiet-spoken encouragement for everyone he came into contact with, and the genuine pleasure he took from other people's success, served as a perfect example for how folks should conduct themselves among their fellow writers.
The Greater Lehigh Valley Writing Group has lost a staunch supporter, the world has lost a true gentleman. Rest in peace, Bill Marley. You will be missed.
