A seven-minute Hobbit trailer

This seven-minute, fan-made compilation of the various trailers and TV spots is well put together, and quite possibly the best advertisement for The Hobbit so far :)

Wow, I haven't seen at least one of those trailers - there were scenes I hadn't seen yet. Still can't believe they made it a trilogy, though.

Thank you for posting this. It helps to build anticipation. I was told that that actor playing Bilbo will be the same actor who played on the original UK "The Office". The one who played the fairly normal guy who "got the girl" in The Office Special that was later done.

That's the guy. His name is Martin Freeman. Aside from his role as Bilbo, he's probably best known for playing Dr. Watson to Benedict Cumberbatch's Sherlock in the current UK adaptation. He also played Arthur Dent in the movie version of The Hitchhikers Guide to the Galaxy :)

We just saw Denny's commercial for their Hobbit menu last night. It's not a very good commercial and yet Hubby & I instantly turned to each other and started discussing whether or not our town even has a Denny's and if not, how far would we have to travel to get to one. Luckily, we do indeed have a Denny's. Otherwise, he would be dragging me on a weekend trip 3.5 hours away. lol
