(joining the chorus) Me too. Half a dozen today; a couple yesterday. Grr! When I went to delete them (and report them as spam) this evening, two of the accounts had been suspended already, so maybe LJ is on it. Sort of.

Grr again, anyway. :-)

I had a few more this morning, but like yours, the accounts had already been squished by LJ. On the bright side, they went straight into the 'suspicious comment' folder, so whoever it was didn't gain anything by it :)

Jon, I noticed the strange comments on my journal on Saturday. If unintelligent me can figure out how to keep spam from my WordPress blog, why can't LJ figure it out? Are they really that stupid?

For LJ, it must be like playing Whak-A-Mole. Every time they stop one spamming technique, the little rotters figure out a new way to get past them.
