I had a great time at the Literary Adventure, hosted by the Belmar Arts Council in Belmar, New Jersey, yesterday afternoon. Many thanks to the event organizer, Patricia Florio, and everyone else who attended. I thoroughly enjoyed listening to the readings and making some new friends. I hope we can do it again some time.
This morning, I'm visiting Lakehurst Elementary School, where I'm looking forward to giving the second module (of twelve) in my Fun with Fiction program to three classes (and another three tomorrow).
This module's called 'BRILLIANT BEGINNINGS,' which seems appropriate since we're about to start the qualifying rounds in this year's Meager Puddle of Limelight Award for Best Opening Line. Assuming LJ's somewhat temperamental polling software cooperates, I'll put round one online this afternoon, though not before I've done a little prune and polish work on Barnum's Revenge.
How about you?
What have you got planned for the day?
