Children's author wanted for school visit in Howell, NJ

A school in Howell, NJ, contacted me. They're looking for a traditionally published author of childrens books (for kids aged 6-8) to do a reading and a couple of school assemblies one Friday in March 2012.

I'm obviously unqualified, but it's interesting to see that schools do seem to be making a difference between trad and self publishing...

Not really sure what to conclude, but it does seem noteworthy.

Possibly, but one school does not an official statewide policy make, as they say... or was that one swallow does not summer make. I always get those two mixed up :)
