It took me six years, three months and about two and a half weeks from the time I decided to write a book, to the day I made (what would eventually become) a successful submission to my publisher, Echelon Press. If I'd known in those early days what I know now, I'm pretty sure I could have done it in less than half the time.
With that in mind, I've put together a presentation, which I sincerely believe can help writers speed up their own learning process.
On Wednesday, October 5th, at 7:00pm, I'll be giving that talk, 10 Things Every Writer Should Know, at Somerville Library (35 West End Ave., Somerville, NJ 08876).
I'll have paperback copies of my debut novel, Fur-Face, there, and since most of the people in the audience will be some kind of writer, I'll be giving a free 'I are a writer!' mug to everyone who buys my book afterwards.
If you'd like to come along, I'd love to see you there :)
