PUDDLES, BOOKFESTS AND ELLEN DATLOW

PUDDLES
Voting booths are still open in this year's Meager Puddle of Limelight Award for Best Book Title contest (polls close on Monday, October 4th 2010 at 3:00pm (US/Eastern)).

The winning entry gets a year's bragging rights, as well as a guest post and/or interview here on An Englishman in New Jersey. If you haven't yet voted, or want to see the current front-runners,

COLLINGSWOOD BOOK FESTIVAL
On Saturday, I'll be at The Collingswood Book Festival, in Collingswood, NJ (10:00am-3:00pm), where the always-generous Neal Levin (aka dqg_neal) is allowing me to share a space on the Dark Quest Books tables.  If you're going, and happen to stroll past booth nos 21 - 24, please say hello to the bald guy with the funny accent.

ELLEN DATLOW
The following weekend, I'll be at the GSHW meeting at the East Brunswick Library in New Jersey, where the amazing Ellen Datlow (aka ellen_datlow ) will give a talk on 'How to "Impress an Editor" & sell fiction in today's volatile publishing industry'

The meeting's open to the public, so if you'd like to come along, we'd love to see you there.
