How to write a 'good' blog post

My friend, Glynis Jolly, invited me over to her place today.

I wanted to talk on the subject most dear to my heart, but she flatly refused to post anything about why it's so darned unfair that I get charged a search fee every time I go for a haircut. Instead, I've written about blogging. If you'd care to read it, here's the link:

How to Write a 'Good' Blog Post.

In the meantime, I'm having a blast at this year's Write Stuff Conference (more on that later). Today, I get to moderate a query letter workshop, with agent-turned-author, Ann M. Boyle, an Informal YA/MG genre chat, with YA/MG author P. G. Kain, and a workshop on Creating Depth of Character, with literary agent, Donald Maass

As you might expect, I'll be taking lots of notes.

I've been creating new awards lately,
and I think your guest post merits
The Outstanding Post Award.

Lol, thank you, Stacy. I'm not sure how, but I'll keep it on my desk always :)

Jon,
I would have let you written about searching for your hair if you really wanted to. It would have been an awfully short post though. ;D

Thank you for doing the post. I'm extremely grateful.

Wow! A workshop with a real live Donald Maass! I'm very envious. I've recently discovered his 'On Writing' books and have been raving about them on my blog and anywhere else I can (the postman's quite sick of hearing about it ;OP). They really are the best of their kind that I've read. Hope you have heaps of fun. I look forward to hearing about it.

Years from now, when I look back over the development of my writing, I believe these last few days will mark a major turning point.

That's exactly how reading his books and paying attention to their lessons is making me feel.
