Read-through & short stories

Taking the car for a regular service today.  I'll take along a red pen and the draft of Jack Thunder. I don't like wading through piles of loose paper, so I had it double-side printed and bound at Staples (cost less than $20),  Much easier to read through, especially if you're sitting in the waiting area at Freehold Ford.

Also, last weekend, I started an online short story group with some of the guys in the Monmouth Creative Writing Group.  Our first exercise is a 100 words (no more, no less) flash fiction.  I'm looking forward to seeing the results.  Writing short stories is hard!

How do you write flash fiction? I haven't figured out that skill at all.

I don't know how other people do it, but I started with a one paragraph outline and worked my way up from there.
