This made me lol, out loud!

If you’ve ever had a problem with today’s new-fangled technology, or you could just do with a laugh, this comedy sketch should tickle your funny bone.

Witty, clever, and laugh out loud funny, it’s a great example of how to finish a run of themed jokes with a bang.

From the BBC comedy show, The One Ronnie,  starring Ronnie Corbett.

If you liked that one, you'll enjoy this blast from the past too:

LOL

Not bad. I like a little word humor.

The second one though took me a few questions for me to figure out what they were doing and some of the names I didn't know (it is BBC after all) but very well done indeed.

I especially liked the answers to the questions "What is the difference between a donkey and an ass?" and "What is a jockstrap?"

I watch that one every few months. Even though I know the jokes by heart now, they always make me smile :)

*snort*

I think I've mentioned a zillion times already
that the two ronnies inspired my story,
"Four Candles"

My capacity to turn comedy into a story about a hate crime
is worrisome, but if it leads to a Nobel Prize,
it's worth it.

I've seen the second a few times before, but the first was wonderful and fresh. I particularly loved "they've brought out two new apples since then". Great stuff.

I liked the 'Eggs box, £3.60' line best :)

They're both great, altho I missed about 1/3 the jokes in the second one because I have no clue who the people are. I did love the fruit references, and the way the one guy very nearly cracked up at the dongle question.

So, if lol = laughing out loud, you were laughing out loud out loud?

Both made me laugh too. The "Mastermind" sketch had admirable timing. Excellent selection, Jon!

Brilliant! Many of us have seen the potential (all the fruit names), but it takes a professional to pull it together so beautifully. Loved the payoff!

I'd seen some of The Two Ronnies, but somehow missed that The One Ronnie existed.

It's fairly recent, I think :)
