Catherine was also kind enough to interview me, so if you enjoy reading about a wannabe best-selling author blathering on about the book what he wrote, and/or would like to know what Catherine thought about Fur-Face, here's a link to both the interview and the review.
TAKING THIS SHOW ON THE ROAD
Now that I have Fur-Face available on CD, I've been doing my best to fill my dance card. Here's where I'll be at over the next couple of months:
Saturday, September 25th: The Ocean County Book Festival in Tom's River, New Jersey. Me and nine other writers from the New Jersey Authors Network and GSHW will be touting our wares from 11:00am to 3:00pm - we may even try to sell a few books too.
Saturday, October 2nd: The Collingswood Book Festival in Collingswood, New Jersey (10:00am - 4:00pm). I'm a little late to the party on this one, due to babysitting/son visiting college that day challenges, but I'm hoping one of my GSHW friends has room on a table for me, but whether or not I get to take part, this looks likes a lot of fun.
Monday, November 1st: New Jersey Authors' Network panel Q&A at Monmouth County Library (HQ), Manalapan, New Jersey. To celebrate National Author's Day, I'll be moderating myself and five other authors in a panel/Q&A at my local library. The theme: FROM THOUGHTS TO PRINT: Getting your book published, starts at 7:00pm
Fri-Sat, November 19th - 21st: PhilCon 2010 at the Crowne Plaza Hotel, Cherry Hill, New Jersey. I went last year to help out at the GSHW table. It was a lot of fun.
Saturday, November 27th: The Fine Art of Self-promotion, a one hour presentation based on my bossy blog posts on the subject, for those lovely folks at the Greater LeHigh Valley Writing Group (Palmer Library, Palmer, PA, 11:00am - 12:00pm). After lunch, I'm running a workshop, IT'S NOT ABOUT YOU - the secret to good blogging
Monday, November 29th: A yet to be titled blogging presentation (I only got the invite last night) at East Brunswick Library (New Jersey), similar to The Fine Art of Self-promotion, but less writer-specific.
How about you?
Any chance we might be bumping into each other during the coming months?
