I'm at last catching up with everything and can announce the second-round winners in the TFHMPF (Thanks for helping me promote Fur-Face) prize draw.

I used a fiendishly cunning selection method**

The winner in this second round is Brian Kell (aka brian_ohio), who gets a free Quake eBook of his choice.

The two runners-up, Deanna (aka shoebrera)  and Tracy Dickens (aka tracy_d74 ), will each receive a copy of the special ‘Fur-Face’ edition CD, featuring the music from the two Fur-Face trailers and my personal selection of favorite songs from my days as chief yodeler in that talentless trio known as GENTLEMAN JONES.  It includes this, our signature song:

I’ll be contacting the winners to sort out their prizes.

Round 3 of the TFHMPF has already started (in fact it's nearly over), but there's still time to take part.

If you’d like to take part here’s how it works:

Each draw features three prizes: The winner will receive a Quake eBook of his/her choice, the two runners up get the aforementioned special ‘Fur-Face’ edition GENTLEMAN JONES CD.

You can have your name entered in the TFHMPF draws by sending me a link to where you did one of the following things between June 1st and August 31st:

A: Promoted Fur-Face on your blog (please add a link to either the OmniLit page, the Amazon Kindle page and/or my website).

B: Featured a Fur-Face book trailer on your blog (just right click the screen to copy the embedded html):

C: Added Fur-Face to your ‘to-read’ list on Goodreads or equivalent (each venue counts as a separate entry).

D: Posted a good review of Fur-Face on
Goodreads or Amazon or equivalent or your blog.  Each venue counts as a separate entry, but please don’t do this unless you actually read and enjoyed the book

Once your name’s in the hat, it stays there for each subsequent draw, BUT, it gets better.   You get an extra entry in the draw, every time you do one of the above, you can even do A and B multiple times, though only once per half-month. EVEN MORE EXCITING, if you’ve bought Fur-Face,
those extra entries go in the main prize draw too!

Round 3 of the TFHMPF prize draw runs until July 15th – I’ll announce the winners on Sunday, July 18th .

** I took three important Fur-Face, dates – I used the day Echelon Press offered me an eBook contract (12/30/2009 ) for the winner. To select the runners-up, I used the day I signed the contract (01/13/2010), and the day the eBook was released (06/01/2010).  I then converted all the dates into 8-digit numbers and divided each one by the number of THFMPF contest entries as of the June 30th cut-off date. The winners were the folks whose entry numbers corresponded with the remainders after I’d done my arithmetic.

I posted you on my blog and I'm sorry I've been so busy that I haven't posted anything for you yet. No need to enter me in the contest though.

Here's your link: http://meredith-wood.livejournal.com/206819.html

You forget, I've already heard you and I loved it. So :-P (I do think all the dogs in the neighborhood liked your singing too. They kept scratching at my door and howling. You have crossover appeal. ;-))
