Larry Brooks's piece reminds me of something Gene Roddenberry said.
He never bought a script from anyone whose pitch began,
"I envision this strange world where..."
and also something I've said a bazillion times;
Aldous Huxley got the title for Brave New World from The Tempest.
"O brave new world, That has such people in it!"

I always thought it was, 'O brave new world, What has such people in it!' ;)

You must have been in the audience
the night your old gran played Miranda.

And this is somewhat off topic...
You've only talked about movies once in the last two months.

So, just to encourage you along those lines,
I'll mention that I watched Frank Capra's Lost Horizon (again!) this week,
and still like it a lot.
:)
