I'm having issues accessing the Power of Reaction post and when I go to the site the blog appears blank. Do you know what's going on?

It looks like Mary's having a temporary issue with the whole website. It should be fixed fairly soon, I'd say by tomorrow.

Jane Lebak's is so, so important. People assume too often that revision is just a matter of fixing grammar and punctuation, when many times it is really about the big picture.

The idea of revising a troubled ms by starting again with a blank page makes good sense (though the idea's more than a little daunting).
