Share a link to where you submitted your work (pitched/submitted in the month of March 2012) for a chance to win two I are a writer! pens.

Here's how it works:
If you submit a story to a paying publication sometime this month (even if it only pays in contributer copies) or you pitch a novel to an agent or publisher (either in the form of a query letter or an in-person pitch), share the title AND a link to the relevant publication, publisher, or literary agency, submission page In a comment below (You don't need an LJ account to leave a comment. You can do it through Facebook or Twitter).

Every month, a random commenter will win two 'I are a writer!' pens, as seen in the pic below.

Best of luck to all who take part.

Quite a bit of subbing, but yesterday I pitched my novel OUTSIDE to Hydra House Books: http://hydrahousebooks.com/?page_id=970

There is a form there, but I sent the query to the email address also listed.

Nice one, Gustavo. What's Outside about?

It's an SF story about a mission from some far-flung interstellar colonies that returns to Earth after 500 years of treaty-enforced isolation. Let's just say that it turns out that they aren't really happy with what they find.

I pitched my novel to an agent at The Write Stuff Conference. But I don't want to say who because I don't want her to be flooded with competing manuscripts. Is that selfish? I'm still finishing it.

Lol, why would they be competing?

Either your ms is the kind of thing she's looking for, or it isn't. If other folks send her equally good manuscripts, she'll take them too :)

I was under the impression that agents didn't want too many of the same kind of project, but I could be wrong. She is with Dystel & Goderich.

Oh, and it's called The Golden Gryphon. See what I'll do for a pen to match my mug?
