A Quiet Word with Mr. Tinkles

Most people try to ignore the 500lb gorilla in the room. Not author, blogger, and carnival troupe member Terri-Lynne DeFino (aka bogwitch64). She talks to them. At least, she does if the gorilla in question is Mr. Tinkles, who earned widespread praise* for his supporting role in my debut novel, Fur-Face.

If you've ever wondered what motivates a sensitive (and extremely polite) gorilla to pursue a career in literature, click here to read what he had to say.

I know Mr. Tinkles has won great affection from the adult fans of the book. Have you heard similar feedback from the kids?

And: flashback for the win!

Truth be told, most of the feedback I've had about Fur-Face is from adults, which is understandable, I guess.

Well, certainly. I don't imagine too many kids doing reviews and blogging.
