Jon's Top Five YouTube vids from 2011: #3

Number 3 on my top five videos from (the ones I first saw in 2011) is the T-Mobile, Welcome Home, advertisement, recorded in London's Heathrow airport. I defy you to watch this without smiling.

In case you missed numbers four and five, here they are again:

#4 'My Blackberry Is Not Working.'

#5 Just Glue Some Gears On It (And Call It Steampunk) (Sir Reginald Pikedevant Esquire)

If you're one of those folks who can't see YouTube videos posted here, these links will take you to the relevant YouTube pages:

It was good. Especially when the whole town went along with the idea of an early Christmas.

I checked out some old news reports and found out it even went around the world - they had people in Taiwan & Britain decorating early and sending pictures to a site called "Decorations for Dax" for him to look at.

I **hadn't** seen 4 and 5, and I love them! Thanks SO much--and thanks for posting twice, because somehow I didn't manage to watch them last time. The blackberry one had me laughing and laughing. I showed it to my 14-year-old, and he liked it too.

Ronnie Corbett was on British Telly for years and years with Ronnie Barker. They did some hilarious sketches, which really stand the test of time, like this one, from 1973 or '73:

Haha! That's very clever. Wakanomori has mentioned the Two Ronnies--I wonder if he's seen that skit.

I was always impressed with Ronnie Barker (the man asking the questions) who wrote lots of sketches for the show, but sent them in under a different name, so they got accepted on the basis of how funny the editors thought they were, rather than because he'd written them.

Awesome, Jon, loved these. The T-Mobile one is very touching (teared up, I did) and the Blackberry not working is hysterical. Thanks for sharing.
