Eek!

So now I have both daughters home from school with an upset tummy. If you read yesterday's post, you'll understand why I won't be defrosting any steak in the sink today.

Hell, I remember kneeling ovr the toilet when I could finally get up, so I'd be able to flush the upchuck and not smell it, My sympathies. I think there is a bug going around though...

They need to stay hydrated so how about cooking up some rhubarb with a little sugar and a lot of water. Let the juice cool and give them a glass of that each. Rhubarb is a natural antiseptic and it should kill the nasties as it goes down. When they can hold down solids, give them the cooked rhubarb with some berries sprinkled on top.

Hope they get better soon.

When I was about 11 or 12, my bedroom had louvered doors on the closet. I got sick once, and on my way to the bathroom I spewed the remains of dinner all over the doors and the floor. I don't think my mother ever forgave me for having to clean all the cracks between those wooden slats.
