The posts about the agent/publisher line are important for authors to read, to get a sense of where pitfalls and potential conflicts of interest may lie.

Yes. Down the line, I predict more than a few tears from some writers who didn't pay enough attention to this.

Another fine sampling, my dear. I especially liked the grammar post by Miss Snark. Ah, grammar--so maligned, yet so necessary.

Miss Snark's post touched me on a personal level, because my own grammar was often maligned- though to be fair, in her case, some of it was probably justified. She could be a tad difficult to live with at times ;)

Living with my elder daughter was like living with Miss Snark. It's highly...miffing to have one's grammar corrected EVERY SINGLE TIME one misspoke.
